Vanilla absolute is produced, mainly for the perfumery industry. Because vanilla is so highly priced, there are many synthetic substitutes available. True vanilla absolute has a rich, balsamic vanilla aroma; it is also sweet. It exists as a dark brown, solid/liquid that needs warming up before it can be blended for aromatherapy and perfumery use.
Not to be confused with may other vanilla products often found when searching on-line for Vanilla Absolute, as many of these are not the true absolute but are CO2 Essential Oils or other mobilised and probably dilute products.

| Extended Information | Although expensive, this oil has wonderful qualities for relieving both chest and urinary tract infections, while assisting the skin in promoting hydration and moisture and for the mind it creates a calming and harmonizing effect, while reducing tension and confusion. The oil has a woody, exotic smell, subtle and lingering and the colour is pale yellow to pale gold. |
