| Extended Information | Sucrose stearate is an exceptionally mild emulsifier supplied in powder form derived from sugar and (usually) coconut oil. Cane sugar is a sweetening agent in food which can act as a preservative and antioxidant, and stearic acid is a natural fatty acid derived from coconut or other vegetable oil. Sucrose Stearate is made by combining Sugar with Stearic Acid. Because it is made from vegetable sources it is completely biodegradable. |
