INCI: SHEA BUTTER GLYCERETH-8 ESTERS
Water dispersible shea butter is a Glycereth-8 Shea Butter ester. It has all the properties of natural Shea Butter but being esterised it will disperse in liquid surfactant based toiletries or soaps without affecting the lather, allowing you to bring the unique qualities of Shea Butter to your finished product, such as body washes, foam baths or liquid hand soaps etc. as well as many others (see More Information tab).

Water dispersible shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii also now know as Vitellaria Paradoxa) with the classic emollient, brightening and softening properties of shea butter. Suitable for the formulation of hair care and toiletry products, creams, milks and lotions. Does not interfere with any foaming characteristics of any surfactant-based product and it is at least 90% biodegradable. Recommended inclusion levels.... None Specified. Manufacturers Information... Obtained through a trans-esterification process, RESPLANTA products are easy to disperse in any kind of formulation. They are stable, clear, light coloured, with very low acid values and slight odour. They are biodegradable, free from ethylene oxide and 1-4 dioxane. Their excellent dermal and ocular compatibility allow them to be used in shower, bath and massage formulations. |
