Extended Information Jasminum officinale
Jasmin is a fragrant flower and is said to have originated in the Himalayan regions in western China. Jasmine tea is consumed in China, where it is called jasmine-flower tea. The flower has numerous uses including the extraction of essential oil, but as a dried ornamental flower it makes a wonderfuil addition to pot pourri mixes and can be included in scented pillows.

Because of EU restrictions on the levels of pesticides on this product, we must make it clear that these are sold for decorative purposes only and should not be used in the manufacture of floral teas or other products for human consumption.

Dried botanicals are natural products. The Soap Kitchen cannot guarantee that these Goods will not at a later date be subject to insect infestation, unless specifically treated. Even after treatments, treated goods can be subject to re-infestation if incorrectly stored. Untreated seeds, herbs, spices and flowers in any form, treated with approved chemical fumigants, are still susceptible to possible infestation as insect eggs are not destroyed by current chemical fumigants. Store in cool dry conditions, out of direct sunlight, and free from infestation and ingress of moisture.
