Dill seed, having a flavour similar to caraway but also resembling that of fresh or dried dill weed is used as a spice. The oil from the seeds is distilled and used in the manufacturing of soaps.

Extended Information Dill Seed Essential Oil has a fresh, herbaceous scent that is gentle, warm and spicy. Its properties are antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, disinfectant, galactogogue, sedative, stomachic and sudorific.
