Comes as a coarse crystal (90% 5 t0 10 mesh 1.7 to 4.0mm grain typical) and can be a white to off-white, or even light brown colour depending on the batch. Genuine Dead Sea Salt is widely used in Spa applications because of it's unique mineral content. A typical analysis of a genuine Dead Sea Salt would be... Magnesium Chloride 31 - 35% Potassium Chloride 20 - 28% Sodium Chloride 3.0 - 8.0% Calcium Chloride 0.1 - 0.5% Bromide 0.3 - 0.6% Sulfates 0.05 - 0.2% Insolubles 0 - 0.3% Water of Crystallisation 32.0 - 38.0% No. of molecules of water 5.5 - 6.1 It is recommended that 1.5Kg be dissolved in a standard bath of warm water to gain maximum benefits.
