Coffee (bean) Butter is highly moisturising helping to soothe and repair irritated, red and dry skin, and it helps to protect the skin from harsh weather. A good choice for inclusion in anti-aging formulas, it is rich in the Polyphenol Chlorogenic Acid. Chlorogenic Acid is a powerful anti-oxidant providing free radical scavenging properties.
The phytosterol (plant sterol) content of Coffee (bean) Butter also gives it anti-inflammatory properties making it useful in formulations intended to ease skin redness or swelling. Coffee (bean) Butter is also a wonderful ingredient to use in lip and hair care formulations. This butter is a blend of Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil and Coffee (seed) Oil. It has a natural 'coffee' aroma and contains up to 1% natural caffeine.
